Audition requirements may vary from show to show. Some directors like cold readings, some might ask for monologues from musicals, you may be asked to bring music or wear dance clothes.
Audition formats vary depending on the director. Some directors prefer closed auditions, where you will wait in another room until you are called in, others like having everyone in one room.
